New Music Monday: Phir Mohabbat and TSeries Mixtape

June is proving to be a relatively good month for the world of Bollywood Music. This week, I will be talking about 2 new releases from Music label TSeries: Phir Mohabbat Acoustic version and the very first TSeries Mixtape featuring singers Neha Kakkar and Mohammad Irfan.

Singer Jubin Nautiyal is becoming increasingly popular day by day, and this soulful acoustic version of Phir Mohabbat, adds another feather in his cap. I always love to see a singer with a Musical instrument, and so it is very refreshing to see Jubin perform the song with his acoustic guitar. This particular version of the song, features under the TSeries acoustic banner. Phir Mohabbat was originally part of the Murder 2 soundtrack and featured 3 singers on the vocals (Arijit Singh, Mohammad Irfan ans Saim Bhat) the song is composed by Mithoon. The second new release is the very first Mixtape which is a new concept from TSeries and features singers Neha Kakkar and Mohammad Irfan on the vocals. The Mixtape series is a similar concept to MTV Unplugged and will feature a host of 26 singers who will perform new versions of old songs. Neha and Mohammad Irfan have performed Kabira from Ye Jawani Hai Deewani and Naina (by Amaal Malik). Neha is primarily known for her fast paced Punjabi tracks and so it is always a treat to hear her sing a slow number. Check out this brand new concept below:
